STAR WARS CineMasterpieces ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTER INSERT NOT A BOOTLEG 1977

STAR WARS CineMasterpieces ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTER INSERT NOT A BOOTLEG 1977

INSERT ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTER. UNUSED NEAR MINT C9. ROLLED – NEVER FOLDED. NATIONAL SCREEN SERVICE (NSS) ISSUED. NOT A MINTY WHITE FAKE/BOOTLEG. For Thousands of Vintage Movie Posters. If it has any minor defects like pin holes, creases, etc. And they are not mentioned above, they should be visible in the high resolution photo. WE DO NOT SELL REPRODUCTIONS OF ANY KIND. NO FAKES, NO REPRINTS. Perfect for a high end home theater. Highly sought after by movie poster collectors and aficionados. From the CineMasterpieces archive. This is a genuine 14″ x 36″ U. Insert ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTER issued by the studio when the film was released and meant for theatrical display. National Screen Service (NSS) issued. Not a MINTY WHITE fake/bootleg. There are a TON of fake/bootlegs of this poster. The artwork is slightly cropped and the paper is slightly different. The fakes have been around for over 30 years. We only have ONE of these. These can be very difficult to find in any condition! A long time can go by without one of these coming up for sale. You will have trouble finding a nicer one. Very very minor edge wear bottom right. No tape, no pin holes, no writing, no stains. Normally, inserts were printed in far fewer numbers than one sheets making them much rarer. Sometimes they even sell for more than the one sheet. Collectors love them because they can display two of them in the same space as a one sheet. Usually printed on card stock, studios stopped issuing inserts in the early 1980′s. If a vintage poster is in terrific unrestored condition like this one (EX C8 or better), many experienced collectors will place a premium on it (when compared to a linen backed/restored one). Most experienced collectors prefer unrestored items to restored ones because they believe they will appreciate more in value. This poster is considered to be within that class and is definitely INVESTMENT QUALITY. This is NOT a reprint or reproduction poster! It is a REAL ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTER issued by the studio when the film was released and meant for theatrical display. We are absolutely certain it is authentic. You may be willing to take the risk to save a few dollars, but we are not. We use super strong hi-quality packaging materials including thick cardboard, masonite, and costly pvc plastic tubes. And guaranteed to arrive safely. Please be advised that over 95% of all Original Movie Posters. Printed before the mid 1980′s were issued FOLDED. This is NOT considered a defect. Vintage rolled posters do exist, however they are extremely rare. We can have any folded poster. Which will make the fold lines virtually disappear. Also please note that most movie posters were actually used at the theater, and some will contain slight imperfections such as: writing on the back, pin holes, fold wear, small tears, etc. These are all very common and to be expected, but if they bother you, all these minor flaws can be remedied in the linen backing process. Linen Backing preserves and can actually increase the value of a poster. For the most part, any flaws will be fixed and the poster will appear to be in Near Mint condition. For more information about our. We do not always measure all of our posters exactly. Unless otherwise specified, poster measurements quoted above are approximate to the nearest inch. For example, if we say a one sheet poster is 27″ x 41″ its precise measurements may be closer to 26 3/4″ x 40 7/8″ (or something similar). This slight variance is quite common for all original movie posters. BEWARE OF “FAKE” MOVIE POSTERS! There are fakes, bootlegs, reprints, and reproductions of almost every popular movie poster. WE DO NOT SELL THESE AS ORIGINALS LIKE OTHERS DO! There are many unscrupulous dealers who successfully pass off these posters as originals. They have been doing it for years! These fakes are almost indistinguishable from originals, only experts can tell. They only discover years later when they sell them that they are worthless. Most are from popular movies from the 70′s and 80s, but there are also really old ones and relatively new ones as well. They usually appear in insert size 14″ x 36″ and one sheet size 27″ x 41″. Again, all we can say is BEWARE! We grade our posters according to the Iguide Universal 10-Point Movie Poster Grading Scale. C10 Mint – Investment quality. No perceptible flaws of any kind. C9 Near Mint – Investment quality. Minor flaw on an otherwise unused poster. C8 Excellent – Investment quality. A few minor defects. C7 Very Good to Excellent – Fine condition. Still a very nicely preserved item. C6 Very Good – The typical used poster in average condition. C5 Good to Very Good – A heavily-worn item. C4 Good – Below average but still suitable for display. C3 Fair – Heavily worn, but yet still complete. C2 Poor to Fair – An extremely worn, possibly even incomplete item. C1 Poor – The lowest grade, representing items in the lowest possible condition. Some of our posters are “between grades”. For example, a C8-C9 poster will contain all the qualities/characteristics of a Near Mint C9 except for one or two very minor flaws that we believe prevent it from being a true C9. Sometimes it isn’t possible to do this. Sometimes we can’t roll a folded poster. Please note that if we hold your items for longer than 30 days they will NOT BE RETURNABLE. WE TAKE EXTRA SPECIAL CARE WHEN WE PACKAGE YOUR ITEMS. Folded posters are placed in a plastic bag or envelope and in between STRONG pieces of cardboard and taped together before being placed in the package. Rolled posters are put into a plastic sleeve and then placed in a HEAVY-DUTY TOUGH 3 or 4 diameter thick walled PVC tube. We roll the poster into a smaller diameter than the tube. This is VERY IMPORTANT because it gives the edges strength and helps to prevent them from getting wrinkled. We add soft cushioning material also very important! On the ends to prevent them from getting damaged. We stamp FRAGILE: DO NOT BEND on the outside of the package. EUROPEAN CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ. To protect ourselves, we insure expensive items for the FULL AMOUNT. These combined charges can add up to 25% or more to your final cost. For other European countries the charges will differ. Please check with your postal system on their procedure for packages from overseas so you are not unpleasantly surprised. You must notify us before sending it back. This is extremely rare, but it does occasionally happen. We know how to create a listing that will provide you with the highest dollar possible. We can yield for you MUCH MORE than you would get if you auctioned them yourself up to TEN TIMES or more! Let us sell your posters for you! For more information about CineMasterpieces please see. We guarantee that all posters we sell are graded and described accurately. Unless otherwise specified in the description, ALL POSTERS ARE ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTERS original theatrical movie posters that were displayed or meant for display (unused) in theaters at the time the movies were released. We will put in writing that we guarantee it to be an Original Movie Poster. Star Wars 1977 GENUINE ORIGINAL NSS ROLLED 14x36 INSERT MOVIE POSTER DISPLAY

MUST HAVE STAR WARS! Here’s a BONA FIDE. ORIGINAL ROLLED NEVER-FOLDED 1977 NSS (National Screen Service) issued STAR WARS style “A” 14×36 inch Movie Poster Insert Card – Theater Lobby Display. The Star Wars 14×36 insert poster size is one of the most copied, reprinted and bootlegged of posters out there on Star Wars. It is very hard to find a g enuine original. This real deal, issued by the National Screen Service back in 1977! The poster is in VERY FINE++ to NearMINT ROLLED CONDITION! The poster has NEVER been folded and is a real beauty. It would be very hard to find a nicer one. It was VERY FINE++ to NearMINT condition rolled BEFORE it was conservation paper-backed on a thin sheet of acid free paper. This was done by the best. It’s now ready for framing and displaying. “INSERT, ” or “INSERT CARD”. Is a poster term for a standard sized movie theater lobby display, which measures 14×36 inches. The format originally dates back to the 1920′s. The National Screen Service permanently discontinued manufacturing them in the late 1980′s, shortly before they went out of business. Unfortunately, in the 1980′s, a group of criminal pirates bootlegged all of the Star Wars inserts, along with some of the other iconic 1970′s and’80′s titles such as “Jaws” and the Godfather. They distributed TENS OF THOUSANDS OF THEM! The new (and the same) scum pirate criminals are. So, needless to say, BEWARE! I’m not going to go into all one-hundred and one different ways one can to tell an original poster from the fakes (I’ll save that for my encyclopedia on posters), but I’ll point out a couple of big issues of pressing concern that most educated collectors agree are essential in spotting a fake. The fakes were all printed on heavily bleached card stock that presents a much “whiter” appearance than the originals. The one offered here doesn’t have this flaw. I admit my prices are somewhat advanced, but the service and guarantee I provide is equally advanced. It more than makes up for what appears not to be a bargain price. I say “appears” because it’s my sincere belief that it’s a bargain to be certain in what you’re getting. Certainty is what all the fuss is about when it comes to certifications on autographs, baseball cards, and, comic books. It’s what all three of those collectible industries solely rely on. There is NO other dealer in the country that can say the same! I’m a well-known expert. I fully designed and authored a Star Wars poster-collecting guide back in 1999 – It was published by Butterfields. I’m credited in the front of the guide. I offer that guide with some of my listings see a photo of it in my listing with the. 1976 ORIGINAL Star Wars mini window posters. I point this out because I want you to know that I can definitely authenticate Star Wars posters with 100% accuracy. THIS POSTER IS THE REAL DEAL. I’VE POSTED DIRECT HIGH-RES SCANS OF THE ACTUAL POSTER YOU’LL GET! Acid-Free Museum Paper-Mounted for Preservation & Presentation! I ONLY sell genuine rare originals. Please check my feedback comments and other listings. LINEN-MOUNTING & CONSERVATION PAPER BACKING. Is an accepted form of poster preservation by the Library of Congress and every Museum in the country. A lot of advanced poster buyers request and prefer mounted posters because it makes framing and displaying the posters much easier. CHECK OUT PHOTO #4. The white you see in the photo beyond that of the poster is the white of the Acid-Free paper lining the original poster’s margin. You can see how easy it would be to damage the original poster without that extra margin of protection. The backing makes the poster much safer to handle – it GREATLY reduces the risk of damaging the original. Also, all of my backed posters have been stored FLAT so they DO NOT have a curl to them – They’re ready for framing and display! THIS POSTER WILL BE PROFESSIONALLY PACKAGED. If you’re looking for an investment/museum quality item. Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi Anthony Daniels…. It can crash regardless of any decision you make and can even crash regardless of any decision made by the company related to the stock – Leaving you with a near worthless piece of paper that won’t inspire anyone! The magnificence of art and historic documents have an inherent value that relates to civilization and society. This poster is definitely ECONOMY PROOF! FOR MOST ITEMS LISTED. Please write with any questions. If you’re in the market for top quality original vintage movie posters or Star Wars, then please. Original 14 X 36 insert STAR WARS RETURN OF THE JEDI STYLE A Rolled Near Mint

Original 14 X 36 insert STAR WARS RETURN OF THE JEDI STYLE A Rolled Near Mint

Never displayed, No pin holes or tape. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL MOVIE THEATER 14X36 “INSERT” POSTER. Theaters were given several items for display. 8×10 and 11×14 lobby cards, b/w photos, 14×36 “inserts”, 22×28 “1/2 sheet”, “1 sheet” posters originally 27×41 and currently 27×40, 30×40, 40×60, 41×81 etc. Free items from the studio had no cut and dry rule either. THERE MAY BE A FLASH GLARE IN THE PICTURE. ANY FLAW THAT IS IN THE ITEM IS TINY. I HAVE BEEN CONSULTANT TO TELEVISION, RADIO AND MAGAZINE REGARDING MOVIE MEMORABILIA. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL RELEASE, ALL NATIONAL SCREEN SERVICE (NSS)NUMBERS AND INFO IS ON THE POSTER, THIS POSTER WAS PRINTED FOR THE NATIONAL SCREEN SERVICE UNDER CONTRACT BY THEIR PRINTER TO BE DISPLAYED AT THEATERS AS ADVERTISEMENT, THIS IS NOT A REPRINT, REISSUE, RESTRIKE OR REANYTHING. I HAVE COLLECTED THIS ITEM AND 1000′S OF OTHERS ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS FROM SEVERAL SOURCES SINCE 1980. THIS ITEM CAME FROM MY RETAIL STORES INVENTORY, I CLOSED MY LAST STORE IN MARIN COUNTY CA. AND EVEN LESS THAT HANDLED PRIMARILY CURRENT TITLES, (1970 & LATER). HOWEVER, OUR SALES WERE ISOLATED TO OUR STORES OR IF WE TRAVELED TO ANTIQUE SHOWS AND COLLECTORS EVENTS. COLLECTIONS WOULD COME IN FROM THE PUBLIC TO MY LOCATION BECAUSE THEY HAD NO WHERE ELSE TO SELL THEM. I BOUGHT POSTERS IN SMALL AND LARGE AMOUNTS, 1 TO 1000 COPYS AND MORE. FOR EXAMPLE, IN 1984, I LEFT ONE THEATER WITH 23 SUITCASES FULL OF 68 LBS OF POSTERS IN EACH ONE. 70LBS WAS THE WEIGHT LIMIT TO GET ON A PLANE. I PAID MORE FOR THE EXTRA LUGGAGE THAN I DID THE POSTERS. IN THE LATE 1970′S AND EARLY 1980′S POSTERS WERE STILL AVAILABLE TO BE BOUGHT DIRECT FROM NATIONAL SCREEN SERVICE. AT THE TIME THERE WASN’T ENOUGH BUYERS TO SELL TO AND KEEP A CASH FLOW. COLLECTIONS CAME TO ME WHILE WORKING ANTIQUE SHOWS IN THE MALLS IN THE 1980′S. SEVERAL STUDIO AND PRINTER EMPLOYEES BROUGHT ME POSTERS WHILE I WORKED THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MALLS. ONE INTERESTING THING IS THAT THE VIDEO STORES IN THE EARLY 1980′S WERE GETTING ORIGINAL POSTERS WITH THEIR TAPE ORDERS. THOSE USUALLY HAD THE EXTRA FOLD. IN THE EARLY 1990′S MY STORE IN MARIN BROUGHT IN MORE POSTERS THAN I WILL EVER BE ABLE TO SELL. I HAVE BOUGHT OUT REGIONAL WAREHOUSES BOTH IN DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN LOCATIONS. I COULD TELL STORIES FOR DAYS LIKE THIS, HOWEVER, NOT EVERYBODY WANTS TO HEAR THEM :. I HAVE NOT TOLD MY HISTORY BEFORE BECAUSE IT SEEMED LIKE BRAGGING TO ME, HOWEVER, THERE ARE SO MANY RIDICULOUS RUMORS GOING UNCHECKED ON THE INTERNET, AS WELL AS INTENTIONAL FRAUD I HAVE LAID SOME OF MY CREDENTIALS OUT FOR CUSTOMERS TO KNOW WHO THEY ARE DEALING WITH. I HAVE NOT BUILT A BUSINESS SINCE 1980 ON BEING DISHONEST. IF THE PICTURE DOESNT SHOW! IT IS BEING RAN PRIVATE TO ELIMINATE THE USE OF MY AUCTIONS BY SCANDALOUS PEOPLE.
