Original STAR WARS B Advance Teaser 1 sheet LINENBACKED Union Strike Version

Original STAR WARS B Advance Teaser 1 sheet LINENBACKED Union Strike Version

Original STAR WARS B Advance Teaser 1 sheet, 27×41 movie theater poster. 2 tiny touch up spots, otherwise very near mint before linenbacked, Absolutely beautiful poster! THIS WAS THE POSTER PRODUCED AND DISPLAYED PRIOR TO THE RELEASE OF STAR WARS. I HAVE TAKEN THEM FROM SEVERAL THEATERS AROUND THE WORLD. AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, FIJI, GUAM ETC. I RECEIVED SEVERAL FROM LUCAS FILM EMPLOYEES. I RECEIVED THEM FROM PEOPLE WHO CLAIMED TO HAVE GOT THEM FROM THE FAN CLUB. HOWEVER, I DIDNT PERSONALLY GET THEM FROM THE FAN CLUB. SEVERAL HUNDRED COPIES CAME FROM THE 20TH CENTURY-FOX WAREHOUSE. MY STORE IN MARIN COUNTY WAS A MAGNET FOR POSTERS THAT WERE NOT CONSIDERED TO BE AS VALUABLE AS THEY ARE NOW. Star Wars Advance 1977 (Blue Style). There are 2 versions of this that were authorized and printed by National Screen Service. The GAU is the union logo that appears on most original theatrical posters found on the lower white border in the center. One version of this Star Wars Advance has the logo on it, the second does not. At the Cleveland location that I worked at there had been an altercation with the Union steward and some of the printers. There had been a short strike for a week causing some problems with the use of the logo on posters. Thus, it was omitted from the printing of this particular poster out of the Cleveland NSS location. Both of these versions of this poster are to be considered original! Leonard Powers FOR THIS INFORMATION. THE PROFESSOR WAS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE NATIONAL SCREEN SERVICE FROM 1965 TO 1988. HIS WEBSITE IS PROVIDING ACCURATE INFORMATION UNLIKE THE RIDICULOUS AND SCANDALOUS WEBSITES AND CHATROOMS. Theaters were given several items for display. 8×10 and 11×14 lobby cards, b/w photos, 14×36 “inserts”, 22×28 “1/2 sheet”, “1 sheet” posters originally 27×41 and currently 27×40, 30×40, 40×60, 41×81 etc. Free items from the studio had no cut and dry rule either. THERE MAY BE A FLASH GLARE IN THE PICTURE. ANY FLAW THAT IS IN THE ITEM IS TINY. I HAVE BEEN CONSULTANT TO TELEVISION, RADIO AND MAGAZINE REGARDING MOVIE MEMORABILIA. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL RELEASE, ALL NATIONAL SCREEN SERVICE (NSS)NUMBERS AND INFO IS ON THE POSTER, THIS POSTER WAS PRINTED FOR THE NATIONAL SCREEN SERVICE UNDER CONTRACT BY THEIR PRINTER TO BE DISPLAYED AT THEATERS AS ADVERTISEMENT, THIS IS NOT A REPRINT, REISSUE, RESTRIKE OR REANYTHING. I HAVE COLLECTED THIS ITEM AND 1000′S OF OTHERS ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS FROM SEVERAL SOURCES SINCE 1980. THIS ITEM CAME FROM MY RETAIL STORES INVENTORY, I CLOSED MY LAST STORE IN MARIN COUNTY CA. AND EVEN LESS THAT HANDLED PRIMARILY CURRENT TITLES, (1970 & LATER). HOWEVER, OUR SALES WERE ISOLATED TO OUR STORES OR IF WE TRAVELED TO ANTIQUE SHOWS AND COLLECTORS EVENTS. COLLECTIONS WOULD COME IN FROM THE PUBLIC TO MY LOCATION BECAUSE THEY HAD NO WHERE ELSE TO SELL THEM. I BOUGHT POSTERS IN SMALL AND LARGE AMOUNTS, 1 TO 1000 COPYS AND MORE. FOR EXAMPLE, IN 1984, I LEFT ONE THEATER WITH 23 SUITCASES FULL OF 68 LBS OF POSTERS IN EACH ONE. 70LBS WAS THE WEIGHT LIMIT TO GET ON A PLANE. I PAID MORE FOR THE EXTRA LUGGAGE THAN I DID THE POSTERS. IN THE LATE 1970′S AND EARLY 1980′S POSTERS WERE STILL AVAILABLE TO BE BOUGHT DIRECT FROM NATIONAL SCREEN SERVICE. AT THE TIME THERE WASN’T ENOUGH BUYERS TO SELL TO AND KEEP A CASH FLOW. COLLECTIONS CAME TO ME WHILE WORKING ANTIQUE SHOWS IN THE MALLS IN THE 1980′S. SEVERAL STUDIO AND PRINTER EMPLOYEES BROUGHT ME POSTERS WHILE I WORKED THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MALLS. ONE INTERESTING THING IS THAT THE VIDEO STORES IN THE EARLY 1980′S WERE GETTING ORIGINAL POSTERS WITH THEIR TAPE ORDERS. THOSE USUALLY HAD THE EXTRA FOLD. IN THE EARLY 1990′S MY STORE IN MARIN BROUGHT IN MORE POSTERS THAN I WILL EVER BE ABLE TO SELL. I HAVE BOUGHT OUT REGIONAL WAREHOUSES BOTH IN DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN LOCATIONS. I COULD TELL STORIES FOR DAYS LIKE THIS, HOWEVER, NOT EVERYBODY WANTS TO HEAR THEM :. I HAVE NOT TOLD MY HISTORY BEFORE BECAUSE IT SEEMED LIKE BRAGGING TO ME, HOWEVER, THERE ARE SO MANY RIDICULOUS RUMORS GOING UNCHECKED ON THE INTERNET, AS WELL AS INTENTIONAL FRAUD I HAVE LAID SOME OF MY CREDENTIALS OUT FOR CUSTOMERS TO KNOW WHO THEY ARE DEALING WITH. I HAVE NOT BUILT A BUSINESS SINCE 1980 ON BEING DISHONEST. IF THE PICTURE DOESNT SHOW! IT IS BEING RAN PRIVATE TO ELIMINATE THE USE OF MY AUCTIONS BY SCANDALOUS PEOPLE. STAR VIRGIN Original One Sheet Movie Poster Sexploitation XXX Star Wars Parody

STAR VIRGIN Original One Sheet Movie Poster Sexploitation XXX Star Wars Parody

STAR VIRGIN Original One Sheet Movie Poster Sexploitation XXX Star Wars Parody

STAR VIRGIN Original One Sheet Movie Poster Sexploitation XXX Star Wars Parody

MOVIE TITLE: STAR VIRGIN. FORMAT/SIZE: One Sheet Film Poster (See Image for Size – Scale in Inches). STARRING: Kari Klark, Tracy Walton. Photos are of the actual item(s) you’ll be receiving. NOTE: X-rated Star Wars parody. This piece came directly out of my personal film memorabilia and movie poster collection that I amassed over decades of collecting. I collected mostly one sheets from the best movies of the year, with an emphasis on beautiful artwork and country-of-origin, but I also ended up with lots of other poster sizes as well. You’ll find everything from half sheets, 3 sheets, 6 sheets, and lobby cards – to props, presskits and trailers, etc… Original Star Wars posters – to original Pulp Fiction advances. Once they’re gone, they’re gone! I try to take photos for you in both natural and artificial light (which is why you might see a slight color difference between the images). My light box uses fluorescent lights – which typically register as green on film – so those images should lose some of the yellows/oranges/reds due to the green light. I’ve included a color-chart at the top right to help you see what the light is doing to those colors. The scale on the red measuring-tape is in inches. MORE ORIGINAL MOVIE COLLECTIBLES & FILM MEMORABILIA. I do not sell fakes, reprints, commercial posters, reproductions, video posters, etc.. Although, as with all rules, there are a few odd exceptions. There’s no theatrical poster for things like Lonesome Dove, so if you want a real poster, your only option is the video one sheet. Similarly, the video one sheet for Dawn of the Dead is actually better looking than the theatrical posters. So, I do carry the Lonesome Dove, and could conceivably carry the Dawn of the Dead. Somewhere I have a commercial poster for Star Wars or the Empire Strikes Back that somehow ended up back at the poster distributor’s – where it got stamped and sent back out to other theatres to display. So, is it now a real poster? Similarly, I can remember when the Matrix was released and the studio wasn’t expecting it to do as well as it did – and they completely ran out of one sheets late in the film’s first release! That’s why Matrix one sheets have always been so sought after, there’s never been enough. Again, does that make those specific commercial posters real now? By the definition most collectors use, it would. Or, at least, it might. Most of my posters were sourced from movie theatres or poster distribution warehouses by myself personally. So, rest assured, none of my posters came from any of those bad dealers you’ve heard so much about. And any posters with known bootlegs have been checked to make sure they’re original, even the ones I personally took out of a theatre’s projection or poster-storage room myself. If you see anything I’ve mis-described, please let me know so I can update the listing! Local pick-up is available. If you would like faster service or a different courier FexEx, UPS, Purolator, DHL, etc… , that can be arranged, but will likely cost considerably more. CANADA : Canada Post [this seems to be averaging 3 to 6 calendar days]. The cut-off time here is 3pm EST. Please be aware: if you don’t contact me first and just give the package back to the carrier, it will likely be disposed of and you will be held responsible. I package everything as safely as I can given size and weight constraints. Folded posters typically get sandwiched in-between cardboard – and then placed inside a larger box so it has two layers of protection. Rolled posters typically get wrapped in near-neutral-PH paper, then placed inside a tube which gets put into a 200# test box. So, again, two layers of protection. I try to use recycled cardboard wherever possible. Please see the detailed photographs so you can judge each item’s authenticity, condition, and defects for yourself. I typically don’t list condition descriptions as they are purely subjective and I wouldn’t want anyone to be unhappy because they thought the poster wasn’t in the condition I described (amongst other reasons). Unfortunately, due to recent service-disruptions and the rise of porch-pirates, etc… I have collected original movie posters for several decades now. I provided the servers (pro bono) that hosted the internet’s first movie-poster authentication site, a site which was responsible for severely curtailing fraud inside the hobby. I was even the person who first broke one of the biggest bootleg scandals our hobby has ever seen. Or maybe it was two? So, you can rest assured that you are getting what you paid for! The best and most highly-collectible movie posters on the planet! If you have any questions about any of my posters (or any other posters, for that matter), don’t hesitate to ask! I’ve picked up a lot of info over the decades, and I’d be glad to help you out in any way I can, if I’m able.

Original STAR WARS Rare 1982 27 x 41 1 Sheet Video Poster ROLLED VF

Original STAR WARS Rare 1982 27 x 41 1 Sheet Video Poster ROLLED VF

I BELIEVE ONE DAY COLLECTORS WILL REALIZE HOW UNIQUE THE EARLY 1980′S VIDEO RELEASE ITEMS ARE AND THEY WILL BE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER. FROM ABOUT 1979 TO 1984 ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTERS WERE PRIMARILY USED IN VIDEO STORES. THE FINAL DECISION ON VIDEO STORE RENTAL LAW WASN’T MADE UNTIL 1984. HOWEVER, BY THEN THE COURT AND THE STUDIOS SEEN THE INDUSTRY GROW OUT OF CONTROL WHILE STILL IN COURT. THEY WERE ALREADY PRODUCING THE VIDEOS AND JOINING IN THE BUSINESS IN A BIG WAY WHILE STILL IN COURT FIGHTING THE LEGALITY OF THE BUSINESS. The Supreme Court’s decision in the case of. By the end of 1983 there were eight million video recorders in use in the U. That number would soar as the legality of home recording seemed settled. Nonetheless, the studios lobbied Congress for a law that would attach a royalty or surcharge to the sale of VCRs and blank tapes. 1ST VIDEO RELEASE IN 1982, EXTREMELY RARE POSTER, CARDSTOCK NOT THIN 1 SHEET PAPER, THE ONLY OTHER SIGN THAT IT IS FROM THE VIDEO RELEASE IS IT SAYS LUCAS FILM BELOW THE ARTWORK ON THE LEFT INSTEAD OF 20TH CENTURY FOX. ROLLED NEVER FOLDED VERY FINE CONDITION. NEVER DISPLAYED, NO PIN HOLES OR TAPE, NO SMOKE OR FADING. 27 1/8″ x 41 1/8″.
